Hey friends! Today we are going to learn about something very important. Do you know what the Kenya National Anthem is? It’s a special song that represents our country and we sing it on special occasions like Independence Day or when we have important visitors. But when we hear the anthem being played, we need to show respect by doing some important things.

First, we need to stand up and face the flag or the direction where the flag is located. Can you all stand up with me? Great! Now let’s face the flag or the direction where the flag is located.

Next, we should put our right hand over our heart or at our side. Can you all do that with me? Great job!

Now, we should sing the anthem with enthusiasm and respect. If we don’t know the words, we can learn them before the event. Let’s practice singing the first line of the anthem together.

During the playing of the National Anthem, we should remain silent and not talk, laugh, or make noise. Can you all be silent with me? Shhh!

We should also dress appropriately for the occasion and pay attention to the event. That means we should wear nice clothes and pay attention to what’s happening around us.

We should not move around, walk, or fidget during the singing of the anthem. We need to keep singing the anthem until it’s finished. If it’s a recorded version, we need to wait for the music to finish playing.

By following these simple rules, we can show our respect for our country and our anthem when we sing the Kenya National Anthem. Let’s all practice standing up, facing the flag, putting our hand over our heart, and singing the anthem with enthusiasm and respect. Great job, friends!
