Lesson Title: Introduction to Ancient Greek History
Objective: Students will be able to identify major historical events and civilizations from Ancient Greek History
Materials: Textbooks, laptops/desktops/tablets, marker boards
Procedures:

Introduction: (10 minutes) The teacher will introduce the lesson with a brief introduction to Ancient Greek History. They will explain the historical context and the time period involved. They will then ask questions to engage the students in the lesson.

Reading: (20 minutes) The students will then read the assigned text about Ancient Greek History. The teacher will then ask questions to monitor understanding.

Discussion: (20 minutes) The students will then be asked to complete a series of activities related to the text. These activities will be used to further their understanding of Ancient Greek history and will include a variety of methods, such as discussion, group work, and writing assignments.

Group Work: (20 minutes) The students will then be split into groups and assigned tasks related to researching a particular topic in Ancient Greek history. They will work together to identify major events and civilizations in Ancient Greek history, as well as draw conclusions and formulate opinions.

Closing: (10 minutes) The teacher will then review the lesson and ask the students to present their findings. This will be an opportunity for the students to further their understanding of Ancient Greek history and discuss their conclusions and opinions with their peers.
Assessment: Student understanding will be assessed through their completed activities, group work, and participation in class discussion.
