My dear son, my pride and joy, I write this poem for you, my boy. From the moment you came into my life, You brought me happiness, love, and strife.

I watched you grow, day by day, Learning and exploring in your own special way. From your first steps to your first words, Every milestone, my heart soared.

I taught you to ride a bike, Holding on tight, just in case you’d strike. But soon enough, you pedaled on your own, Showing me how much you’ve grown.

We played catch in the backyard, You swung the bat, hitting it hard. With every game, win or lose, I saw determination in your shoes.

I watched you study late at night, Working hard to make things right. You never gave up, always tried your best, And that’s what sets you apart from the rest.

Now you’re all grown up, ready to fly, To spread your wings and touch the sky. Remember, my son, wherever you go, You’ll always have a place to call home.

I’m proud of the man you’ve become, With a heart so kind and actions so strong. Know that I’ll always be by your side, Guiding you through life’s turbulent ride.

So, my dear son, as you embark on your way, Remember the lessons I’ve taught you each day. Chase your dreams, reach for the stars, And know that you’ll always have my love, no matter how far.
