Project Rubric: “Le Magasinage” or “Au Jardin”

Due Date: Monday, January 15th

Expectations: 1. Writing: - Write a paragraph about “les objets de Classe” (classroom objects) related to the chosen topic. - Use appropriate vocabulary and grammar structures. - Demonstrate understanding of the topic and provide relevant information. - Use correct spelling and punctuation. - Submit the written paragraph at the end of each class period.

1. Speaking (Presentation): - Prepare a presentation about the chosen topic. - Use clear and concise language. - Include relevant information and examples. - Speak audibly and with proper pronunciation. - Engage the audience by maintaining eye contact and using appropriate gestures. - Use visual aids, if desired. - Present for the entire 4th period.

2. Listening: - Actively listen to other students’ presentations. - Take notes on important points and interesting information. - Participate in the question and answer session at the end of each presentation.

Evaluation Criteria: 1. Writing (40%): - Vocabulary and Grammar: 10% - Content and Relevance: 10% - Spelling and Punctuation: 10% - Submission on time: 10%

1. Speaking (40%): - Clarity and Fluency: 10% - Content and Organization: 10% - Engagement and Delivery: 10% - Use of Visual Aids (if applicable): 10%

2. Listening (20%): - Active Listening: 10% - Note-taking: 5% - Participation in Q&A: 5%

Resources and References: - French Dictionaries: Students are recommended to use reliable dictionaries for vocabulary lookup. - Chromebooks: Students will have access to Chromebooks in the classroom to assist with writing and research.

Note: It is important to remind students to respect the sharing of Chromebooks and use them responsibly.
