Procedure:

    • Distribute the handouts with AI-related vocabulary and definitions.
    • Ask students to match the vocabulary words with their corresponding definitions.
    • Review the answers as a class and clarify any doubts or questions.
  3. Introduction to AI (15 minutes):
    • Explain to students that Artificial Intelligence refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence.
    • Discuss some examples of AI applications, such as virtual assistants (e.g., Siri, Alexa), self-driving cars, and recommendation systems (e.g., Netflix, Amazon).
    • Show or describe a specific AI application and ask students to discuss its advantages and potential drawbacks.
  4. AI in Different Fields (20 minutes):
    • Divide the class into small groups and assign each group a specific field where AI is being used (e.g., healthcare, finance, education, entertainment).
    • In their groups, students should research and discuss how AI is being applied in their assigned field.
    • Each group should prepare a short presentation to share their findings with the class.
    • Allow time for each group to present and encourage class discussion and questions.
  5. Wrap-up (10 minutes):
    • Summarize the main points discussed during the lesson.
    • Ask students to reflect on the potential impact of AI on society and discuss their thoughts as a class.
    • Provide additional resources or articles for students who are interested in learning more about AI.

Note: This lesson can be adapted and expanded based on the students’ level and interests. Additional activities, such as watching videos or reading articles about AI, can be included to further explore the topic.
