• World Cup 2022 will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18
• This will be the first FIFA World Cup hosted in the Arab World and the first to be hosted in November/December
• A total of 32 teams will compete in 8 groups of 4
• The tournament will conclude with a Final at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Doha
• Qatar has promised to create cooling technology to prevent temperatures from reaching dangerous levels during matches
• VAR technology and instant replays will be used for decisions during the tournament
