Position: Security Personnel

Job Summary: The Security Personnel in Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospitals is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hospital premises, staff, patients, and visitors. They are expected to maintain a safe and secure environment by implementing security measures and protocols.

Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Monitor and control access to the hospital premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry. 2. Conduct regular patrols of the hospital premises to detect and prevent any security breaches or suspicious activities. 3. Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and take appropriate action as per hospital protocols. 4. Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, patients, and staff regarding hospital policies and procedures. 8. Report any security incidents, accidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities and complete incident reports as required. 9. Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and other security systems to ensure they are in proper working condition. 10. Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices in the healthcare industry to enhance security measures.

Qualifications and Experience: 1. High school diploma or equivalent education is required. Additional security-related certifications or training is preferred. 2. Proven work experience as a security personnel, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting. 3. Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and emergency response techniques. 4. Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technologies. 5. Excellent observation and surveillance skills to identify potential security risks or threats. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors. 7. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and make quick decisions. 8. Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. 9. Basic computer skills to operate security systems and generate reports. 10. Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
