Job Description: The Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospital Staff is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to pregnant women, new mothers, and children. They work in a hospital setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide prenatal care to pregnant women, including regular check-ups, monitoring fetal development, and addressing any complications. 2. Conduct deliveries and assist in cesarean sections, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby. 3. Offer postnatal care to new mothers, including monitoring their physical and emotional recovery, providing breastfeeding support, and addressing any postpartum complications. 4. Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or equivalent. Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Pediatrics is preferred. 2. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in the respective jurisdiction. 3. Work Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting. 4. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of maternal and child healthcare practices, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postnatal care, and pediatric care. 5. Skills: Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families. Proficiency in medical record-keeping and use of relevant medical software. 6. Compassion: Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards pregnant women, new mothers, and children. 7. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously. 8. Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. 9.
