Title: IT Manager

Job Description: The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure and systems within maternal health care and child health care hospitals. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related functions and providing technical support to staff members.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the hospital’s goals and objectives. 2. Manage and maintain the hospital’s computer systems, networks, and servers. 3. Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data. 4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. 5. Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software. 6. Train staff members on the use of IT systems and software. 7. Monitor and manage IT budgets and expenses. 8. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and patient care. 9. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and recommend innovative solutions. 10. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. 11. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures. 12. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations. 13. Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 2. Proven work experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a healthcare setting. 3. In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR) and medical imaging systems. 4. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and data privacy regulations. 5. Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 8. Strong leadership and management skills. 9. Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCNA, CISSP) are a plus. 10. Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA) is preferred.
