Job Description:

The Front Desk Supervisor in Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospitals is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area.   11. Stay updated on hospital policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to patients and their families.
  12. Assist with billing and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  13. Prepare reports on front desk activities, including patient volume, wait times, and customer satisfaction.
  14. Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay informed about changes in hospital procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as a front desk supervisor or similar role in a healthcare setting.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records.
  6. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
  7. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
