Job Description: IT Support Staff for Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospitals

Position Summary: The IT Support Staff is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to the staff and users of the Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospitals. They will ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications, and provide troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance to resolve any IT-related issues.

Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. 3. Provide technical support and assistance to hospital staff and users. 4. Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords. 5. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security. 6. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security. 7. Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades. 8. Train staff on the proper use of hardware, software, and systems. 9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support. 10. Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Qualifications and Experience: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Proven work experience as an IT Support Staff or similar role. 3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks. 4. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving IT issues. 5. Familiarity with hospital information systems and healthcare IT infrastructure is preferred. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Strong organizational and time management skills. 9. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. 10. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
