Job Description: Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospital Nurse

Position Summary: The Maternal Health Care & Child Health Care Hospital Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers and children in a hospital setting. They will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and safety of patients. The nurse will utilize their educational background and work experience to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Provide direct patient care to mothers and children, including prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric care. 2. Monitor patients’ vital signs, observe any changes in their condition, and report to the healthcare team. 5. Assist in the delivery of babies and provide immediate care to newborns. 7. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. Additional certifications in maternal and child health care are preferred. 2. Licensure: Valid nursing license in the state of practice. 3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal and child health care, preferably in a hospital setting. 4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of maternal and child health care principles, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with relevant medical equipment and technology. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. 6.
