  2. Whole Group Discussion (10 minutes):
    • Display a large chart paper and draw a simple plant with roots, stem, leaves, and flowers.
    • Ask students to name the different parts of the plant.
    • Write down their responses on the chart paper.
    • Explain the function of each part (roots absorb water and nutrients, stem supports the plant, leaves make food through photosynthesis, flowers attract pollinators).
  3. Hands-on Exploration (15 minutes):
    • Distribute real plant specimens (leaves, flowers, stems, roots) to small groups of students.
    • Encourage students to observe and touch the different parts of the plants.
    • Ask them to describe the texture, color, and shape of each part.
    • Have students share their observations with the whole group.
  4. Art Activity (10 minutes):

  5. Recap and Review (5 minutes):
    • Gather students back together and review the different parts of a plant.
    • Ask students to share what they learned during the lesson.
    • Use the chart paper to reinforce the concepts discussed.
  6. Assessment (optional):
    • Distribute plant coloring sheets or worksheets to assess students’ understanding of the parts of a plant.
    • Review their completed work to gauge comprehension.
  7. Conclusion (5 minutes):
    • Summarize the lesson by emphasizing the importance of plants and their different parts.
    • Encourage students to observe plants in their surroundings and identify the parts discussed.
    • Answer any remaining questions and provide additional resources for further exploration.

Note: The duration of each activity can be adjusted based on the class’s pace and needs.
