Lesson 1: God Provides for Us

Objective: To teach children that God provides for us and we should thank Him for His provision.

Materials: Bible, pictures of food, paper, crayons

Introduction: Ask the children if they know where their food comes from. Explain that God provides for us by giving us food to eat.

Activity: Show the children pictures of different types of food. Ask them to draw their favorite food on a piece of paper. After they finish drawing, ask them to thank God for providing them with food.

Closing: Pray with the children, thanking God for His provision.

Lesson 2: Thanking God for Our Home

Objective: To teach children that God provides us with a home and we should thank Him for it.

Materials: Bible, pictures of houses, paper, crayons

Introduction: Ask the children if they know what a home is. Explain that a home is a place where we live and feel safe.

Activity: Show the children pictures of different types of houses. Ask them to draw their home on a piece of paper. After they finish drawing, ask them to thank God for providing them with a home.

Closing: Pray with the children, thanking God for His provision of a home.

Lesson 3: Prayer as a Way of Communicating with God

Objective: To teach children that prayer is a way of communicating with God.

Materials: Bible, paper, crayons

Introduction: Ask the children if they know what prayer is. Explain that prayer is talking to God.

Activity: Ask the children to draw a picture of something they are thankful for. After they finish drawing, ask them to say a prayer thanking God for that thing.

Closing: Pray with the children, thanking God for His provision and for the opportunity to communicate with Him through prayer.

Lesson 4: Thanking God for Our Family and Friends

Objective: To teach children that God provides us with family and friends and we should thank Him for them.

Materials: Bible, pictures of family and friends, paper, crayons

Introduction: Ask the children if they know who their family and friends are. Explain that God provides us with people who love and care for us.

Activity: Show the children pictures of family and friends. Ask them to draw a picture of their family and friends on a piece of paper. After they finish drawing, ask them to thank God for providing them with loving family and friends.

Closing: Pray with the children, thanking God for His provision of family and friends.
