Time: 60 minutes

Activity 1: Introduction to servant leadership (5 minutes) -Discuss the definition & characteristics of servant leadership

Activity 2: Discussion/questions & answer session (10 minutes) -Have the new managers discuss and answer questions on servant leadership

Activity 3: Brainstorming Session (15 minutes) -Have the new managers brainstorm examples of servant leadership in their current workplace

Activity 4: Break (5 minutes) -Provide the class with a 5 minute break

Activity 5: Watch a Video (15 minutes) -Show the class a video on servant leadership and discuss the main points

Activity 6: Group Activity (15 minutes) -Split the class up into groups and have them come up with a strategy to effectively incorporate servant leadership into their new role

Activity 7: Conclusion (5 minutes) -Review material discussed throughout lesson -Discuss what they can do to apply the concept of servant leadership in their workplace

Follow-up Assignment -Have the new managers reflect on the lesson and come up with 3 actionable steps they can take to incorporate servant leadership into their work life.
