Procedure:

  1. Introduction (5 minutes):
    • Begin the lesson by asking students if they know what rights and responsibilities are.

  2. Differentiating Rights and Responsibilities (10 minutes):
    • Divide the class into small groups.

    • Engage students in a class discussion about the consequences of not obeying safety regulations.
  4. Responding Positively to Road Safety and Security Principles (15 minutes):
    • Show students road safety and security posters.
    • Discuss the importance of road safety and security principles, such as crossing the road at designated areas, wearing seatbelts, and not talking to strangers.
    • Share scenarios related to road safety and security and ask students to discuss how they would respond in each situation.
    • Distribute handouts with similar scenarios and ask students to write down their responses.
  5. Conclusion (5 minutes):
    • Recap the main points discussed during the lesson.
    • Emphasize the importance of understanding and respecting both rights and responsibilities.
    • Encourage students to apply what they have learned about safety and security principles in their daily lives.
