Day 5: Debate Skills - Teach the students how to debate a topic - Provide them with debate prompts and encourage them to practice debating in small groups - Play a game of “Debate Tournament” where students debate different topics and vote on the winner
Week 5: Creative Writing
Day 1: Poetry Writing - Introduce different types of poetry such as haiku, acrostic, and free verse - Provide the students with examples and encourage them to write their own poems - Play a game of “Poetry Slam” where students read their poems aloud to the class
Day 2: Fiction Writing - Introduce the concept of fiction writing such as plot, character, and setting - Provide the students with a story starter and encourage them to write their own stories - Play a game of “Story Swap” where students exchange stories and provide feedback to each other
