Explain that in this activity, students will explore various art and design techniques, processes, and concepts, and learn to analyze and appreciate different artworks.

Activity Steps:

Step 1: Introduction to Art and Design Techniques (1-2 lessons) 1. Introduce students to different art and design techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art. 2. Show examples of artworks created using these techniques and discuss their unique characteristics. 3. Engage students in a hands-on activity where they can experiment with different techniques and create their own artwork. 4. Encourage students to reflect on their creative process and discuss the techniques they used.

Step 2: Exploring Art and Design Processes (2-3 lessons) 1. Introduce students to various art and design processes such as brainstorming, sketching, planning, and refining. 2. Show examples of artworks that demonstrate different processes and discuss how they contribute to the final outcome. 3. Engage students in a group activity where they can collaborate and go through the art and design process together. 4.
