Activity: 1. Begin by reading the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff to the class. Discuss the different characters and their roles in the story. 2. Divide the class into groups of three. Each group will choose one character to play - the three billy goats, the troll, or the narrator. 3. Give each group time to discuss and plan their performance. Encourage them to think about how they can use movement, expression, and voice to bring their character to life. 4. Once the groups have planned their performance, give them time to rehearse. 5. Invite each group to perform their version of the story to the class. 6. After each performance, ask the class to give feedback on what they liked about the performance and how it could be improved. 7. Finally, bring the class together to discuss what they learned from the activity and how they can use drama to express themselves in the future.
Assessment: Observe the students during the activity and assess their ability to create and choose a role, use movement, expression, and voice to bring their character to life, and work collaboratively with others.
