Activity:

  1. Take the children on a nature walk around the school or local area. Encourage them to observe and collect natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and twigs.

  2. Once back in the classroom, give each child a paper bag to store their collected materials.

  3. Provide the children with magazines or newspapers and encourage them to cut out pictures of different environments such as forests, oceans, and deserts.

  4. Give each child a piece of paper and have them create a collage using their collected natural materials and the pictures they cut out.

  5. Encourage the children to discuss their collages and the different environments they included.
