PlayPosit, or EdPuzzle, are tools available to students that allow them to create an instructional video and embed a quiz with a minimum of 3 questions to determine if their audience has learned the content presented. With the use of such tools, students can design videos that are engaging and informative by bringing in interactivity.

In order to create a video, the first step is for the student to record or select the video or audio clip they wish to use. After selecting a video or audio clip, the student would then be able to add interactive elements such as multiple choice questions, open-ended questions and polls. Questions can also be added at any point during the video for the intended purposes of learning and assessment.

Once the interactive elements are added, the student can release the video to their audience. Utilizing features such as pause mode, the student can monitor their audience’s progress. In addition, they may also select an assessment strategy by adding assignments such as writing and/or pictorial responses.

The student’s audience can then easily access the video and answer the quiz and/or assignments embedded in the video. Upon completing the quiz and/or assignments, their work will be saved to the student’s dashboard. The student can then review and grade their audience’s work.

Overall, the use of tools such as PlayPosit or EdPuzzle can help students create and distribute instructional videos quickly, while enabling their audience to interact with the video and embed quiz of minimum 3 questions to determine if their audience has learned the content presented. Additionally, the instructor can review the performance of their audience with ease.
