Dear Diary,

Today I read about Prosper, the main character of The Thief Lord. I found his story so captivating! In chapters 1, 2 and 3 we were introduced to Prosper and his brother Bo. After running away from their uncle, the two of them find their way to the magnificent city of Venice. There they meet a mysterious figure, the Thief Lord, and join his gang. In chapters 4 and 5, I started to fall in love with Prosper as we discovered his wit and courage as he worked alongside the Thief Lord to complete their heists. Then in chapter 6, I was amazed at the way Prosper used his wits to outsmart the grown-ups in his mission to save his brother.

I’m so amazed by this character and the lengths he’s gone to keep him and his brother safe. It’s clear that Prosper is a force to be reckoned with!
