Title: “Body Language Charades”
Objective: To guess the body language being acted out by the other players.
Number of players: 3 or more
Materials needed: None
Instructions:
-
Choose one player to start the game. They will act out a body language cue without speaking or making any sounds.
-
The other players will have to guess what body language cue is being acted out. They can ask yes or no questions to help them guess.
-
The player who guesses correctly gets to act out the next body language cue.
-
If no one can guess the body language cue within a certain amount of time (e.g. 1 minute), the player who acted it out can reveal the answer and no points are awarded.
-
Keep playing until everyone has had a chance to act out a body language cue or until a certain number of points is reached.
Variations:
-
To make the game more challenging, players can act out multiple body language cues in a row and the other players have to guess all of them correctly.
-
To make the game more competitive, players can keep track of their points and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
-
To make the game more educational, players can discuss the meanings and cultural differences of the body language cues after they have been guessed.
