Body (40 minutes): - Use the PowerPoint presentation to explain the main causes of World War One: militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism. - For each cause, provide examples and ask students to share their thoughts and opinions. - Divide the class into small groups and give each group a handout with discussion questions related to the causes of World War One. Allow them to discuss and share their findings with the class. - After the group discussions, ask students to individually write a short paragraph explaining which cause they believe was the most significant and why.
Conclusion (10 minutes): - Ask a few students to share their paragraphs with the class. - Summarize the main causes of World War One and emphasize the importance of understanding history to prevent similar conflicts in the future.
