Procedure: 1. Introduce the concept of a magical woodland realm by reading the following example. “The magical woodland was filled with sprites and fairy folk, dancing around the silver birch trees with their frilled skirts and sapphire wings gleaming in the moonlight.”

Once they are finished writing their descriptions, have the students share their work out loud with the class.
