Introduction:

Welcome to our 13 years old English language course! This course is designed to help students learn English by introducing language, grammar and vocabulary. We’ll be using games, videos and worksheets to help you improve your English in a fun and interactive way. We’ll also be discerning the base of English language learning and emphasizing the importance of developing fluency and mastery over the language.

Lesson Outline:

• Introduce basic English prounciation and help student take in theses new words and practice.

• Guide students to define English words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs). • Memorize basic English sentence structure. • Introduce the parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs). • Explain how to correctly use nouns, verbs and other parts of speech in speech and writing. • Use games, videos and worksheets to practice.

Questioning:

Throughout the session, the instructor should use open questions to facilitate the student’s learning. These questions should direct the student to answer in a way that requires them to think and apply the correct language skills before responding.

Assessment:

At the conclusion of this course, the student should demonstrate mastery in the following areas:

• Ability to accurately pronounce words. • Ability to identify different parts of speech. • Ability to construct basic English sentences. • Ability to understand the importance of grammar.

Differentiation:

This program plans to be flexible and tailor the course to the student’s needs. The instructor should consider the student’s current English language knowledge and their learning strengths while designing the course. As such, the instructor should be prepared to make adjustments to the course plan when needed.

Plenary:

At the end of each class, the instructor should review the material learnt in the lesson and provide students with an opportunity to ask questions. The instructor should also ensure that students have enough homework and resources to further practice and develop their English language ability.
