Materials: - A variety of bread types (e.g. white bread, wheat bread, sourdough bread, baguette, pita bread, etc.) - Plates - Napkins - Water
Procedure:

Introduction (5 minutes) - Begin by asking students if they like bread and what their favorite type of bread is. - Explain that today, they will be learning about different types of bread and how to taste and evaluate them.

Types of Bread (10 minutes) - Show the different types of bread to the students and explain what each one is. - Discuss the differences between the bread types, such as texture, flavor, and appearance.

Tasting (20 minutes) - Give each student a plate and a napkin. - Cut small pieces of each type of bread and place them on the plates. - Instruct students to smell the bread first, then take a small bite and chew it slowly. - Encourage students to pay attention to the texture, flavor, and overall taste of each bread type. - Have students rate each bread type on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the least favorite and 5 being the most favorite.

Discussion (10 minutes) - After tasting all the bread types, have students share their ratings and discuss their favorite and least favorite bread types. - Ask students to explain why they liked or disliked certain bread types. - Discuss the importance of trying new foods and being open to different tastes and textures.
