Procedure:

Introduction (10 minutes): 1. Begin by asking students if they have ever heard of the terms militarism and anti-militarism. Write these terms on the whiteboard. 2. Ask students to share their initial thoughts or ideas about these concepts. 3. Provide a brief overview of the lesson objectives and explain that the class will be learning about Karl Liebknecht, a prominent anti-militarist activist.

Direct Instruction (20 minutes): 1. Distribute handouts with definitions of militarism and anti-militarism. 2.
