Theme: Seeds to Plants

Objectives: 1. To introduce the concept of seeds and their role in plant growth. 2. To understand the process of seed germination and plant growth. 3. To develop an appreciation for nature and the importance of plants in our lives.

Discussion: 1. Begin the lesson by asking students if they have ever planted a seed or seen a plant grow. 2. Discuss the importance of plants in our lives, such as providing food, oxygen, and beauty. 3. Introduce the concept of seeds and explain how they are the starting point for plant growth. 4. Discuss the different types of seeds and their characteristics.

Storytelling: 1. Read aloud the story “Funny Bunny” to the students. 2. During the storytelling, emphasize the role of seeds in the story and how they transform into plants. 3. Encourage students to actively listen and engage with the story by asking questions and making connections to their own experiences.

Activities: 1. Seed Observation: Provide each student with a seed and ask them to observe its size, shape, and color. Have them draw and label their observations. 2. Seed Germination Experiment: Conduct a simple seed germination experiment in the classroom. Divide the students into groups and provide them with different seeds, soil, and containers. Instruct them to plant the seeds and observe their growth over a few weeks. 3.
