Procedure:

Explain that eCommerce is the buying and selling of goods and services online. It has become increasingly popular in recent years due to the convenience it offers.
Body (40 minutes): 1. Define eCommerce and explain its benefits, such as convenience, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness. 2. Discuss the challenges of eCommerce, such as security concerns, lack of personal interaction, and the need for reliable internet access. 3. Show examples of popular eCommerce websites, such as Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. 4. Discuss the different types of eCommerce, such as B2B (business-to-business), B2C (business-to-consumer), and C2C (consumer-to-consumer). 5. Have students work in pairs or small groups to research and present on a specific eCommerce website or company. They should include information on the company’s history, products or services, target audience, and any challenges they have faced.
Conclusion (10 minutes): 1. Review the key points of the lesson, including the definition, benefits, and challenges of eCommerce. 2. Ask students to reflect on their own experiences with eCommerce and share any additional thoughts or questions they may have. 3. Distribute handouts on eCommerce for students to take home and review.
