Procedure:
Introduction (10 minutes): 1. Begin the lesson by asking students what they know about human rights and ethics. 2. Write their responses on the whiteboard. 3. Explain that human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, while ethics are the principles of right and wrong that guide individual and group behavior. 4. Distribute handouts on human rights and ethics.
Activity 1: Human Rights Violations (20 minutes): 1. Divide the class into small groups. 2. Provide each group with an article or case study on a human rights violation. 3. Instruct the groups to read and analyze the article or case study. 4. Ask each group to present their findings to the class. 5. Facilitate a class discussion on the importance of human rights and the consequences of violating them.
Activity 2: Ethical Dilemmas (30 minutes): 1. Show a video clip or provide an article on an ethical dilemma. 2. Instruct the students to analyze the situation and propose a solution. 3.
