Introduction (5 minutes): 1. Begin the lesson by asking students if they have ever played badminton before. Allow them to share their experiences. 2. Explain that today’s lesson will focus on racquets badminton, a fun and exciting sport that helps improve our fitness and coordination. 3. Share the desired outcome with the students: “By the end of this lesson, you will be able to develop skills and techniques in racquets badminton and improve your level of performance and fitness.”
Warm-up Activity (10 minutes): 1. Set up a small playing area using cones or markers. 2. Instruct students to jog around the playing area for 2 minutes to warm up their bodies. 3. After the warm-up, ask students to perform dynamic stretches, such as arm circles, leg swings, and trunk rotations, for another 2 minutes.
Skill Development (20 minutes): 1. Divide the class into pairs or small groups. 2. Demonstrate and explain the basic skills and techniques of racquets badminton, including grip, serving, and hitting the shuttlecock. 3. Allow students to practice these skills with their partners or group members, providing individual feedback and guidance as needed. 4. Encourage students to rotate roles within their groups, allowing each student to practice different skills.
Game Time (20 minutes): 1. Divide the class into two teams and set up a badminton court using cones or markers. 2. Explain the rules of the game, emphasizing fair play and teamwork. 3. Start the game and encourage students to apply the skills and techniques they have learned. 4. Monitor the game, providing feedback and guidance to students as necessary. 5. After the game, discuss the importance of good sportsmanship and fair play.
Cool-down Activity (5 minutes): 1. Instruct students to walk around the playing area to gradually lower their heart rate. 2. Lead the students through a series of static stretches, focusing on the muscles used during the badminton activities. 3. Allow students to share their thoughts and feelings about the lesson and their progress in racquets badminton.
Conclusion (5 minutes): 1. Recap the learning objectives and ask students if they feel they have achieved them. 2.
