Lesson Outline: 1. Name Introduction (10 minutes) - Begin by asking each child to introduce themselves by saying their name out loud. - Encourage the children to share any interesting facts or stories about their names. - Create a name chart on the board, writing down each child’s name as they introduce themselves.

  1. Family Tree Activity (15 minutes)
    • Show a visual representation of a family tree and explain its purpose.
    • Distribute a worksheet with a simple family tree template to each child.
    • Instruct the children to draw their family members on the tree, including themselves, parents, siblings, and pets.
    • Encourage the children to share their family tree drawings with their peers.
  2. Favorite Things (10 minutes)
    • Ask the children about their favorite things, such as colors, animals, foods, and activities.
    • Use flashcards or pictures to help the children identify and express their favorite things.
    • Engage the children in a group discussion, allowing each child to share their favorite things.
