Duration: 45 minutes

Procedure:

  1. Introduction (5 minutes) - Gather the students in a circle and display the large letter “S” cutout. - Ask the students if they know the name of the letter and its sound. - Explain that today’s lesson is all about the letter “S” and its sound.

  2. Letter “S” Sound Exploration (10 minutes) - Show the picture cards with objects starting with the letter “S” one by one. - Ask the students to identify the objects and emphasize the initial “S” sound. - Encourage the students to repeat the sound after you and practice making the sound themselves.

  3.
