Desired Outcome: I enjoy creating texts of my choice and I am developing my own style. I can regularly select subject, purpose, format and resources to suit the needs of my audience.
Level: Third Level
Focus: MADRASSSA
Time: 60 minutes
Resources: Writing prompts, writing samples, writing tools (pens, pencils, paper, computers), dictionaries, thesauruses, and grammar guides.
Introduction (10 minutes)

Begin the lesson by asking students what they know about writing. Ask them to share their experiences with writing and what they enjoy about it.

Explain the desired outcome of the lesson and how it relates to the Scottish curriculum.

Introduce the focus of the lesson, MADRASSSA, and explain how it will be incorporated into the writing activities.
