Resources: Gaelic writing materials, Gaelic dictionaries, Gaelic grammar books, Gaelic spell check software, Gaelic language websites.
Introduction (10 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by introducing the topic of writing in Gaelic. Explain to the students that they will be learning how to use a variety of sources to help them check the accuracy of their Gaelic spelling and punctuation.
- Ask the students if they have any experience with writing in Gaelic. If so, ask them to share their experiences with the class.
- Explain to the students that writing in Gaelic can be challenging, but with the right tools and resources, it can be made easier.
Main Activity (40 minutes)
- Provide the students with Gaelic writing materials, such as paper and pens, and ask them to write a short paragraph in Gaelic about their favourite hobby or activity.
