Introduction

Welcome students to the lesson on biochemistry. Today we will be exploring the core concepts in biochemistry and the underlying principles that underpin this complex field. This is an important topic because biochemistry is a fundamental aspect of understanding the structure and function of the body in health and disease.

Before we begin, let’s revisit what biochemistry is and why it is important in medicine.
