Introduction:

Good morning, class! Today we’re going to be learning about proper nouns. Does anyone know what a proper noun is? (Allow for student responses.) A proper noun is a name that is specific and unique to one person, place, thing, or idea. It’s different from a common noun which is a more general name.

Lesson Outline: 1. What is a Proper Noun?
