Introduction: - Begin the lesson by asking students if they know what the word “immigration” means. - Show a short video clip or images related to immigration to spark interest and engage students. - Explain that immigration is when people move from one country to another to live there permanently. - Discuss reasons why people might choose to immigrate, such as better job opportunities, education, or to be with family.
Lesson Outline: 1. Warm-up Activity: (10 minutes) - Provide students with a worksheet containing pictures of different countries. - Ask students to identify the countries and share what they know about them. - Encourage students to discuss if they know anyone from those countries or if they have ever visited them.
