Introduction (5mins):

To begin the lesson, explain to the class what a proper noun is. Give an example of a proper noun such as a name or a place and ask the class if they can name a few more.

Lesson outline (20mins):

Next, watch this short video with the class: Proper Noun Song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1ROj5V6UuQ). The video explains what a proper noun is in a fun and engaging way.

After watching the video, distribute the worksheets. Ask the class to identify which of the given words are proper nouns and to write them in the box provided on the worksheet.
