Subject: Being Unique
Objective: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Understand the concept of being unique
- Appreciate and appreciate the differences in each other
Materials: -Markers -Construction paper -Resources about uniqueness (e.g. books, poems)
Time: 45 minutes
Warm-Up Activity:

Ask the students to close their eyes and think of a person they admire in the world, who they feel is unique.

Ask each student to explain why they admire that person and what makes them unique. (5 minutes)
Main Activity:

Discuss the concept of being unique and how each person is unique in their own way. Explain that everyone has unique talents and skills. (10 minutes)

Show the students the resources about uniqueness (e.g. books, poems, etc.) and allow them to explore and read these materials, if they choose. (15 minutes)

Give each student a piece of construction paper and markers and have them draw a picture and write a sentence about themselves and why they are unique. (15 minutes)
Closure Activity:

Have each student share their artwork and explain why they feel unique. (5 minutes)

Ask the students to brainstorm ways they can respect and appreciate the differences in each other. (5 minutes)
