Procedure:

Introduction (10 minutes): -Introduce the topic of day and night. Ask what the students already know about day and night. -Display the chart paper with the heading “Day and Night”.

Discussion (15 minutes): -Ask the students to name some differences between day and night with the teacher providing guidance and clarification as needed. -Discuss the activities that happen during day and night. -Discuss the cycle of day and night.

Demonstration (10 minutes): -Show the students the light and dark objects (i.e. sun, stars) and explain how they can be used to demonstrate the cycle of day and night.

Activity (10 minutes): -Divide the class into small groups. Instruct the students to create a poster illustrating the cycle of day and night, including the differences and activities that take place during day and night.

Summary (5 minutes): -Ask volunteers to share their posters with the class. -Lead a discussion on why day and night repeats in a cycle.
