Allow a few responses and provide a simple definition if needed. 3. Explain that a proper noun is a specific name given to a person, place, or thing. 4. Show the students a few examples of proper nouns written on the board (e.g., John, London, Statue of Liberty). 5. Play the Proper Nouns Song video to engage the students and introduce the concept in a fun way.

Lesson Outline: 1. Write the definition of a proper noun on the board: “A proper noun is a specific name given to a person, place, or thing.” 2. Discuss examples of proper nouns with the students, encouraging them to share their own examples. 3. Write a few sentences on the board, some with proper nouns and some without. Ask the students to identify the proper nouns in each sentence. 4. Use the Proper Nouns Explained video to reinforce the concept and provide additional examples. 5.
