Introductory Activity: (10 mins)
• Pass out the adjective cards to each student • Ask the students to return to their seats with the cards • Explain to the class that the cards they have are all adjectives and that adjectives are special words that describe nouns • Have each student explain what its card means as well as an example for the rest of the class to understand
Main Activity: (15 mins)
• Ask the class to come up with 3 sentences using adjectives from the cards • Have each student read their sentences aloud so that the rest of the class can learn from their use of adjectives • Ask for feedback from the other students about the adjectives used, and how they each helped to create a stronger sentence
