Questioning - Ask the students to identify proper nouns in the book - Ask questions regarding proper nouns such as: - What is a proper noun? - What is an example of a proper noun? - How is a proper noun different from a common noun?

Assessment Students can demonstrate their mastery of the material by taking a short quiz on the differences between proper nouns and common nouns, or by completing the worksheet on Capitalizing Proper Nouns found on the Education.com website.
