Introduction: Welcome to our lesson on Proper Nouns. In this lesson, we will practice using proper nouns in our writing and speaking. We will also look at when and how to use them.

Lesson Outline: 1. Introduction to Proper Nouns: What is a proper noun? (3 minutes) 2. Identifying Proper Nouns: How do we identify proper nouns? (6 minutes) 3. Writing with Proper Nouns: How do we use proper nouns in writing? (6 minutes) 4. Speaking with Proper Nouns: How do we use proper nouns in speaking? (6 minutes)

Questioning: Throughout the lesson, encourage students to answer questions such as “What is a proper noun?” “Can you give me an example of a proper noun?” “When and where do you use proper nouns?”

Assessment: At the end of the lesson, have students fill out a worksheet that assesses their understanding of the lesson.

Differentiation: For students who need more support, provide additional worksheets and/or videos about proper nouns.

Plenary: To finish, create a quiz or game that reviews the concept of proper nouns.
