If they haven’t, explain that it is a term used to describe the negative effects that watching South Park can have on a person’s behavior and attitudes towards others.
Body: 1. Distribute handouts with information on South Park Syndrome. Have the students read through the handouts and highlight any new vocabulary words or concepts they don’t understand. 2. Use the whiteboard to define any new vocabulary words or concepts that the students highlighted. 3. Discuss the negative effects that South Park Syndrome can have on a person’s behavior and attitudes towards others. For example, it can lead to increased aggression, disrespect towards authority figures, and a lack of empathy towards others. 4.
