Introduction: Begin the lesson by asking the children if they enjoy listening to stories. Ask them to share their favorite stories and why they like them. Explain that today’s lesson is all about storytelling and how to create a good story.

Lesson Outline: 1. Discuss the elements of a good story: characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. 2. Watch a video on storytelling to introduce the concept. 3. Provide a worksheet for the children to brainstorm their own story ideas. 4. Have the children work in pairs to create a story using the elements discussed. 5. Allow time for the children to share their stories with the class.

Questioning: 1. What are the elements of a good story? 2. How can we create interesting characters? 3. What makes a good setting for a story? 4. How can we create conflict in a story? 5. How can we resolve conflict in a story?

Assessment: Observe the children as they work in pairs to create their stories. Assess their understanding of the elements of a good story and their ability to apply them in their own writing.

Differentiation: For children who may struggle with writing, provide visual aids such as pictures or storyboards to help them create their stories. For children who may need an extra challenge, encourage them to add more complex elements to their stories such as foreshadowing or multiple conflicts.

Plenary: Have the children share their stories with the class. Encourage them to provide feedback to their peers on what they liked about their stories and how they could improve them.
