Lesson Plan: Synonyms and Antonyms

Grade Level: Primary 5 (ages 9-10)

Subject: English Language Arts

Introduction: 1. Begin the lesson by asking students if they know what synonyms and antonyms are. Allow a few students to share their understanding. 2. Explain that synonyms are words that have similar meanings, while antonyms are words that have opposite meanings. 3. Tell the students that today they will be learning more about synonyms and antonyms and how to use them in their writing.

Lesson Outline: 1. Display the definition of synonyms and antonyms on the board. 2. Show a short video explaining synonyms and antonyms.
