Lesson Outline: 1. Warm-up Activity (5 minutes): - Show a short video clip that features different characters or objects. - Ask students to write down as many describing words as they can think of to describe what they see in the video. - Share and discuss their answers as a class.
- Introduction to Describing Words (10 minutes):
- Explain that describing words are words that give more information about a noun or pronoun.
- Provide examples of describing words (e.g., big, beautiful, fast) and explain how they can be used to make writing more interesting.

- Discuss the video and clarify any questions or doubts.
- Guided Practice (15 minutes):
- Distribute a worksheet with sentences that need describing words.
- In pairs or small groups, students will identify the nouns or pronouns in each sentence and add appropriate describing words to make the sentences more descriptive.
- Circulate the classroom to provide support and guidance as needed.
- Independent Practice (10 minutes):
- Provide each student with a blank piece of paper.
- Ask them to choose a favorite object or person and write a short paragraph describing it using as many describing words as possible.
- Encourage students to be creative and use a variety of adjectives to make their writing more engaging.
- Collect the paragraphs for assessment.
